• Registered Nurse: Helped open the first Coronary Care Unit (CCU) in Boulder.
• Was on one of the first transplant teams at a Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester, MN.
• Worked with Hospice in Boulder
• Active in the Mission field
• Parent to 2 biological sons and twelve foster children
• recipient of the 2007 "Prime Time for Seniors" newspaper 'Senior Women Who are Still Making History' award
