Welcome to A Bridge to Hope!!
To every one of you... May you have a very safe and Happy New Year. I proclaim 2012 as the "Year Without Fear". Domestic Violence and abuse awareness will be promoted here more than ever before. Awareness is the key to victory.
Around the world, at least one in every three women has been beaten, coerced into sex or otherwise abused during her lifetime.

“The quality of your life will never rise above the quality of your relationships." - Pastor Jillian Chambers
God gave me a special word for this ministry when He called me to do it and I'd like to share it with you. It's found in Job chapter 11, verses 18 & 19. It says, "Having hope will give you courage. You will be protected and will rest in safety. You will lie down unafraid, and many will look to you for help".
(New Living Translation)
I trust this site will be valuable to every person who views it. You are either in an abusive situation or you know someone who is. Oh yes, statistics say that you know numerous people who are in danger on a regular basis whether anyone else is aware of it or not. If you find that someone needs help, you'll be able to direct them to help.
Within this site you will find things to help peak your awareness, things that will encourage you, things that will make you cry and things that will make you laugh.
I invite you to take a look at my "Statement of Faith" page to see just what I believe. I do not force my beliefs on anyone but while you say, "What if you're wrong?" I simply say, "What if I'm right?". I just want you to know how I believe if that makes a difference to you.
Next is my "Helpful Instructions" page. This page's importance to a victim is that it helps you make a plan and brings to mind some very important things to remember when a person is leaving for a safe place.
On the "Encouragement" page, you will never see anything negative. There will be only encouraging statements and things that will make you smile or even break out in a chuckle. There will be much posted there to help you recognize your worth and value no matter what anyone else has told you.
I will tell you "About Me" on that page and include a little on my family while respecting their privacy.
I have a "Memorial" page that I invite you to be a part of. If you know of anyone who has passed away due to abuse or domestic violence, please share their name, birth year and death year and they will be honored on this page.
There are ways to "Contact Me", and a "Guestbook" that I hope everyone will sign.
There is a "Favorite Link" page that will have many more links added soon.
I'm still learning how to put photos on the site so please be patient with me. Currently, there is a "Image Gallery" but not looking very good yet.
Thats a summary of the site. I now turn you lose to look around and enjoy the things you learn here. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, please feel free to contact me and I will consider them carefully.
Okay, come on in and then tell others about...
A Bridge To Hope
